Scheduled dispensing from a hopper; app controls. [1]
Lid opens for a registered pet. Not scheduled portion dispensing. [2]
Pet identification
Dedicated PETLIBRO collar tag, not implanted microchips; one paired tag per feeder. [1]
Compatible implanted microchip or SureFlap RFID collar tag. Check compatibility first. [2]
Main trade-off
Tag, reader mat and dry-food compatibility must suit your cat.
You still prepare and fill the bowl; access control does not dispense future meals.
These are published manufacturer features, not proof that either feeder will work reliably for your pet. Price, stock, regional variants and return terms must be checked live.
Which belongs on your shortlist?
Scheduled dry meals
Investigate the One RFID
If your job is scheduled dry-food portions and your cat can use the supplied collar tag, its published features match that brief. Confirm your kibble, setup and training requirements first.
Do not choose it for: wet food or recognition of an implanted microchip.
Access to a prepared bowl
Investigate the SureFeed
If your job is access control for food you put in the bowl, including wet food, its published features match that brief. Verify the exact non-Connect model and your pet’s identification compatibility.
Do not choose it for: automatic scheduled portion dispensing.
Before you buy either
Exact model and country: check the seller listing, regional instructions, return window and consumables. Do not substitute a Connect model or another PETLIBRO variant.
Identification: confirm tag or microchip compatibility before relying on access control. Pet acceptance and successful training are not established by this report.
Food and portions: confirm food compatibility and setup with the manual. A covered bowl is not proof of safe storage for every food or duration.
Space and upkeep: measure the assembled footprint, including reader mat where required. Check washing instructions and replacement-part availability.
Failure plan: supervise initial use and arrange a person to check food access. Do not treat either feeder as a substitute for pet care or veterinary advice.
